Definition |
The indicator measures the share of the children between the age of three and the starting age of compulsory primary education who participated in early childhood education. SDG 10 Reduce inequality within and among countries: it partially measures the implementation of target 10.2 regarding Romania's approximation to the EU average, corresponding to 2030. The EU target for participation in early childhood education and care should be at least 96% for children between three years old and the starting age for compulsory primary education by 2030. |
