Definition |
The average monthly net earnings result from the deduction from gross amounts paid related to the average gross monthly earnings of the mandatory social contributions of employees and the corresponding tax, the result being divided by the average number of employees and the number of months of the year. |

Methodology |
The indicator is calculated based on the elements provided by the labour cost survey, by determining gross and net size, monthly and hourly, of the earnings structured by activities of the national economy, forms of ownership, legal forms, categories of employees, sexes, regions development and counties. In 2020, it was carried out on a sample of about 26,800 economic and social operators, belonging to all size classes of enterprise, regardless of the number of employees. The economic units with 50 employees and over are exhaustively included in the survey. |
