TLF1018 - Target 1 - Social - At-risk-of-poverty rate (AROP) by sex, age groups, development regions and macroregions |
Definition |
At-risk-of-poverty rate is defined as the share of poor persons (according to the relative method of estimation) in total population. According to this method, the persons from the households with an equivalised disposable income lower than the at-risk-of-poverty threshold are considered poor. Usually, this indicator is determined for the 60% threshold from the equivalised disposable income. The indicator is sometimes referred to as the ''relative at-risk-of-poverty rate''. |
