Definition |
Severe housing deprivation rate is defined as the percentage of population living in the dwelling which is considered as overcrowded, while also exhibiting at least one of the housing deprivation measures. Housing deprivation measures the poor amenities and is calculated by referring to the some housing features with a leaking roof, no bath/ shower and no indoor toilet, or a dwelling considered too dark. The persons from the households with an equivalent disposable income below the poverty threshold (60% of the median equivalent disposable income) are considered poor. |

Observations |
Data are available starting with 2008. In the period 2008-2014 have been recalculated social inclusion indicators from the survey on the quality of life (ACAV). These indicators recalculation was made by calculation of the coefficients of expansion based on resident population from Population and Housing Census 2011.
