TMD1141 - Target 4 - Social - Share of Bucharest's resident population in the total urban resident population |
Definition |
The resident population represents all persons with Romanian citizenship, foreigners and non-citizens, who have their usual place of residence in Romania. Usual residence is the place at which a person normally spends the daily period of rest, regardless of temporary absences for purposes of recreation, holiday, visits to friends and relatives, business, medical treatment or religious pilgrimage. The usual place of residence may be the same as the place of domicile or may differ for persons who choose to establish their usual place of residence in a place other than their place of domicile in the country or abroad. Only persons who have lived at their usual residence for an uninterrupted period of at least 12 months prior to the reference time are considered to have their usual residence in a specific geographical area. The resident population includes persons who have immigrated to Romania, but excludes persons who have emigrated from Romania. SDG 11, measured target: 11.4 Developing and implementing a comprehensive spatial planning and land-use planning programme in line with sectoral strategies at national level by applying the concept of polycentric and balanced spatial development that supports territorial cohesion. |
