Definition The indicator provides information on the number of information actions carried out within the emergency prevention campaigns.
Concepts:
The emergency prevention activity carried out by the emergency services represents the totality of the specific actions planned and carried out, according to the law, in order to prevent, reduce or eliminate the risks of emergencies and their consequences, the protection of the population, environment, goods and values.
Emergency situation: exceptional, non-military events that threaten the life or health of the person, the environment, material and cultural values, and to restore normalcy are necessary the adoption of urgent measures and actions, the allocation of specialized resources and unitary management of forces and the means involved.
The intensification of the actions of information and preparation of the population for seismic risk situations, as well as of the authorities with responsibilities in the field, represents an essential step in the preparation of the framework for the implementation of the national seismic risk reduction strategy.
Preventive information activities in the field of emergencies have an important role in reducing the negative impact of risk situations on the environment, these activities ensure education and accountability, informing the population as easily and in detail as to how to behave in the environment. face the risks.

Methodology The calculation of the indicator is done through an existing computer application at IGSU level, by centralizing the data, based on the reports sent by the subordinate units (county emergency inspectorates / Bucharest-Ilfov), in compliance with legal provisions:
MIA Order no. 89/2013 on the approval of the Regulation for planning, organizing, preparing and carrying out the activity of prevention of emergency situations executed by the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations and subordinated structures.
