TMG1161 - Target 6 - Environment - Air pollutants emissions by source sector |
Definition |
The class of conventional pollutant emissions includes: SO2 emissions, NOX emissions, NMVOC emissions, CO emissions, NH3 emissions, PM10 emissions.
- SO2 emissions - represents the amount of sulphur dioxide emissions in the air;
- NOx emissions (nitrogen oxides) - are a group of highly reactive gases, which contain nitrogen and oxygen in varying amounts;
- NMVOC emissions - represent the amount of emissions of non - methane volatile organic compounds into the air;
- NH3 emissions - represents the amount of ammonia emissions in the air;
- CO emissions - represent the amount of carbon monoxide emissions into the air;
- PM10 emissions are a complex mixture of very small particles and liquid droplets;
- PM2.5 emissions - represents the amount of suspended particulate emissions with a diameter <2.5 micrometres in air. |
