TRN102B - New registrations of vehicles for transport of goods, by macroregions, development regions and counties 
Definition New registrations of road vehicles include both vehicles registered for the first time into the Romanian Road Vehicles Register and imported second hand vehicles.
Trams, troleybuses military road vehicles, agricultural trailers and motor homes are not included. Passenger car is a motor vehicle, different from a motorcycle, designed for passenger transport, with no more than nine seats, including the driver.
The motor coach, the bus and the minibus are vehicles for passenger transport, with a capacity of more than nine seats, including the driver.
The goods road vehicle is the vehicle designed for transport of goods (lorry) or any other combination of road vehicles for transport of goods (lorry with trailler) or road tractor.
The goods road motor vehicles refer to both motor utilitarians and motor specialized vehicles for goods transport.
The road tractor with saddle is the motor vehicle designed to haul semi-trailers.
The towing road tractor is the road motor vehicle designed exclusively or mainly to haul trailers, provided with a platform for ballast.
The road motor vehicle for special purposes is the road motor vehicle which is not mainly designed for passengers or goods transport. This category includes: fire brigade vehicles, vehicles for recording radio, TV, mobile cranes, bulldozers, towing vehicles for vehicles in need of repair, other vehicles.

Observations Motor vehicles includes road vehicles for special purposes and other road vehicles for transport of goods.
The 2000 year was the first in which the research was carried out. For the period 2001-2001 data represent only registrations of new road vehicles for new vehicles.
For the period 2002-2006 data represent only registrations of new road vehicles .
