TRN106A - Locomotives (end of the year) by types of locomotives 
Definition The number of locomotives represents the number of tractive vehicles intended for hauling railway vehicles, in inventory to railway companies (1991-2018) / registered in Romanian National Vehicles Register managed by Romanian Railway Authority (since 2019) (end of the year). Data related to electric and Diesel locomotives refer to standard gauge track locomotives for basic activities.

Observations The data are available since 1991.
For 1991-2018, data refer to locomotives in inventory to railway undertakings, end of the year.
Since 2019 reference year, data refer to locomotives registered in Romanian National Vehicles Register managed by Romanian Railway Authority, end of the year.
