TRN112A - Passenger and freight railway vehicles (end of the year), by types of railway vehicles 
Definition The number of passenger and freight railway vehicles represents the total number of railway vehicles destined for the carriage of freight and passengers or for other purposes (baggages, packages, post, restaurant, etc.) in inventory to railway companies (1991-2018) / registered in Romanian National Vehicles Register managed by Romanian Railway Authority (since 2019) (end of the year).

Observations The data are available since 1991.
For 1991-2018, data refer to rail coaches and wagons in inventory to railway undertakings, end of the year. 
Since 2019 reference year, data refer to rail coaches and wagons registered in Romanian National Vehicles Register managed by Romanian Railway Authority, end of the year.
Data regarding the number of registered railway vehicles for passengers have been rectified by the Romanian Railway Authority ? AFER, for the years 2019-2020.
