Definition |
Printed school books and university courses belong to entries the legal book stock. School manuals and university courses are separately registered. Component elements are: - the title; - circulation. The title of the publication is used as measurement unit of papers number, printed or issued as independent volume from printing viewpoint. In case of newspapers and magazines, "title" is considered every separate name of newspaper or magazine. The number of printed copies represents the number of copies printed for a book, a booklet, a newspaper or magazine or any other publication. SDG 16 Peace, justice and strong institutions - measures the implementation of target 16.2 on ensuring and encouraging dialogue with national minorities with a view to improving decision-making through equal access for all citizens, such that they are able to respect and express their culture, traditions and mother tongue and participate in the economic, social and political life, and with a view to combating preconceptions, prejudice and discrimination in all its forms and encouraging interethnic dialogue, common values and cultural and linguistic diversity. The indicator provides an overview of access to the study in the mother tongue; printed school manuals and courses facilitate learning, contribute to the development of pupils and students, develop multiculturalism among young people who will later engage, facilitating the process of employment, participation in economic, social and political life. |

Printed school books and university courses that are part of inputs in Legal Stock of National Library of Romania. Legal book stock is a dynamic collection based on the principle of retrospective recovery of publications, database being constantly updated. |
