Definition |
The indicator refers to the share of enterprises that interacted online with the public administration in total active enterprises. Enterprises that have interacted online with public administration are those enterprises that have used the Internet to interact with public authorities, both for public services and for administrative activities (taxes, fees, business registration, social insurance, other types of declarations, authorizations). The purpose of the interaction with the public authorities refers to: obtaining information, obtaining forms (for example forms for taxes and fees), returning the completed forms to the public authorities, in order to fulfill a completely electronic administrative procedure without the need for additional documents. |

Methodology |
The indicator is calculated as share of enterprises that interacted online with the public administration in total active enterprises, in total and in each domain: industry and construction, trade, services. Industry and construction (CANE divisions 10-33; 35-39; 41-43) include activities of manufacturing industry, electricity, heat, gas and water, water distribution, sanitation, waste management, decontamination activities, construction. Trade (CANE divisions 45-47) includes wholesale and retail trade, repair and maintenance of motor vehicles and motorcycles. The services (CANE divisions 49-53; 55-56; 58-63; 68-74; 77-82 and group 951) include the activities: transport and storage, hotels and restaurants, information and communications, real estate transactions, professional, scientific and technical, administrative and support service activities, repair of computers and communications equipment. |
