TSY1681 - Target 8 - Economic - INVESTMENTS IN HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE PRODUCTS AT 1000 LEI TOTAL INVESTMENTS IN ICT PRODUCTS AND SERVICES IN PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION 
Definition The indicator refers to the share of investments in hardware and software products at 1000 lei total investments in ICT products and services (information and communications technology) in public administration.
Investments in hardware products represent the expenses made with the purchase of equipment and component parts of hardware equipment such as personal computers, laptops, servers, etc. whose unit value exceeds 2500 lei.
Investments in software products represent the expenses made with the purchase of computer products - software product packages, adapted software, etc. whose unit value exceeds 2500 lei.

Data sources Statistical survey on the use of technology products information and communications (ICT) in Public Administration  
Methodology Statistical scope refers to the units from the central and local public administration, of county and municipal council type.
Total investments in ICT products and services in public administration include: investments in IT products (hardware and software), investments in IT services, investments in telecommunications products and services, investments in software development on their own, investments in rental of goods and ICT services (hardware, software etc.)

Observations Data available starting with 2014. In the composition of the total investments in ICT products and services for 2016, the data regarding the investments in telecommunications products and services for one of the units are related to 2015.
