Definition The indicator measures the percentage ratio between the number of innovative enterprises with cooperation agreements with abroad partners and the total number of enterprises, both innovative and non-innovative. 
Periodicity 2 years 
Data sources INS - Community innovation survey (CIS) 
Methodology The cooperation of enterprises in carrying out innovative activities represents the active participation of the enterprise with other enterprises or institutions in innovative activities. It is not necessary for both partners to have commercial benefits (excluding simple employment, without active cooperation).

Observations In time, there have been changes related field of coverage for business enterprises and definition of innovation.
