Definition The number of beneficiaries of the Romanian language, culture and civilization courses represents the number of students who study abroad and who benefit from the Romanian language, culture and civilization course. The number of countries in which the Romanian language, culture and civilization courses were taught represents the number of countries in which the optional Romanian language, culture and civilization course was taught to Romanian students enrolled in educational units from EU member states.
SDG 17 Partnerships for the goals - measure the implementation of target 17.4 on sustaining international commitments and proactive involvement on the European and international level. This indicator partially measures SDG 17, by developing the framework for international cooperation between higher education institutions in Romania and partner institutions in the EU. It also shows the degree of promotion of the Romanian language, culture and civilization in the states of the European Union.

Observations Data are collected by the Institute of Romanian Language and and have as their mode of collection the registers. The course of Romanian language, culture and civilization (LCCR) is an international project developed within a partnership between the Romanian Ministry of Education and other EU member states.
