ZDR1421 - Level 2 - Economic - Romania's foreign trade with fish and crustaceans, molluscs and other aquatic invertebrates 
Definition Exports of goods include all goods which by onerous title or free of charge leave the economic territory of the country to the rest of the world destination.
Imports of goods comprise all goods with onerous or free title entering the economic territory of the country coming from the rest of the world.
Trade balace FOB/CIF is calculated based on the value of export FOB and import CIF, as their difference.

Methodology Starting with the 1st of January 2007, statistics of foreign trade with goods are compiled by cumulating the data from INTRASTAT and EXTRASTAT systems: INTRASTAT system: for intra-EU trade (exchange of goods between Romania and other member states of European Union); EXTRASTAT system: for extra-EU trade (exchange of goods between Romania and states which are not member of European Union).

Observations During 1991-1993 for external trade statistical purposes has been used the Harmonised System (6 digits detail level), which represents the base for Combined Nomenclature (8 digits detail level), used by INS since 1994.
For the year 1990 there are no avalible data due to the fact the Unique Goods Nomenclature used for the clasification of import/export is different from the one used starting with the year 1991.
